Planned water outage in Matsapha on Saturday

Matsapha – The Eswatini Water Services Corporation (EWSC) has notified residents and businesses in Matsapha of a planned interruption in water supply on Saturday, 07 February 2026. The outage is due to scheduled maintenance at the Matsapha Treatment Plant.

Water supply is expected to be affected from 15h00 on Saturday and will impact Manzini, Nhlambeni, Mahlabatsini, New Village, Lozitha, Ticantfwini, Fairview North and Fairview South, Matsapha Industrial Site, Kwaluseni, Ludzeludze, Mbikwakhe, Mfabantfu, Bethany, and Upper Industrial Site.

EWSC will provide tankered water at Upper Mhlaleni, Nhlambeni, kaHlobile/Mhlane, Sgodvweni, Mashayitafula, Mangozeni, Magevini, OSSU, Kwaluseni, Eteteni, Mbikwakhe, and Ludzeludze. Full water supply is expected to be restored by 15h00 on Sunday, 08 February 2026.

The Corporation expressed regret for any inconvenience caused to customers during the maintenance works.
