The Ministry of Education and Training has issued a public statement calling for tighter coordination of donations and services directed to schools across the Kingdom of Eswatini.
The statement, released by the Ministry of Education and Training on 27 January 2026, is directed at development partners, civil society organisations, organisations and individuals who provide support to the education sector through donations, services or other resources.
The ministry said it “wishes to acknowledge and sincerely appreciate the continued support received from development partners, CSOs, Organizations and Individuals who contribute towards improving education in the Kingdom of Eswatini.”
According to the ministry, the support provided by partners plays a key role in complementing government efforts to ensure access to quality education for all learners in the country.
To improve coordination, accountability and fair distribution of support to schools, the ministry advised that all partners, donors and well wishers intending to provide assistance or services in kind should channel their support through the Ministry of Education and Training.
The statement said this approach is intended to avoid duplication of efforts, align interventions with national education priorities and ensure that assistance reaches intended schools and learners efficiently and transparently.
The ministry said it looks forward to continued partnerships in advancing the vision of inclusive and quality education for every learner in Eswatini.
