Eswatini’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Senator Pholile Shakantu, on Thursday received a courtesy call from Dr. Maria de Fátima Manso, State Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Communities Abroad of the Republic of Mozambique.
The meeting brought together the two officials to review the cordial and longstanding relations between the Kingdom of Eswatini and the Republic of Mozambique, with both sides stressing the importance of maintaining high-level engagement and ensuring the effective implementation of existing bilateral agreements.

Discussions covered opportunities to strengthen cooperation across several areas, including security, defence, trade, transport, consular affairs and regional cooperation.
Senator Shakantu welcomed the Government of Mozambique’s initiative to bring consular and documentation services closer to Mozambican nationals residing in the Kingdom. Appreciation was also expressed for the continued cooperation between the two countries in addressing matters affecting their respective communities.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of both Eswatini and Mozambique to deepening bilateral ties and promoting mutually beneficial cooperation.
