Manzini – Her Majesty the Indlovukazi has called on emaSwati, churches, corporate bodies, and non-governmental organisations to support the Philani MaSwati Charity Organisation in its mission to assist vulnerable citizens across the Kingdom.

Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini delivered the message on behalf of the Queen Mother during the 10th edition of the Eswatini Biggest Braai at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre in Manzini on Friday, July 24, 2026. Her Majesty serves as the official patron of the humanitarian outfit.

Speaking through the Prime Minister, the Queen Mother noted that the charity has dedicated itself to uplifting disadvantaged communities through social relief programs, praising the team for reaching a decade of continuous service.

“Philani MaSwati has grown into a formidable humanitarian organisation, touching countless lives and embodying the spirit of Nkwe resilience, courage, compassion and service to humanity,” Her Majesty stated.

The Queen Mother expressed appreciation to the business community and local development partners for backing the annual event, calling for wider public participation to scale up community assistance efforts.

“History reminds us that this organisation set its sights on earning a place in the Guinness World Records. Judging by the determination, commitment and Nkwe spirit that Philani MaSwati has consistently demonstrated, I have every confidence that this dream will, in due course, become a reality,” Her Majesty said.

“There is still room for every liSwati, every company, every church, every association and every well wisher to join this noble cause. Together, we can expand the reach of this humanitarian movement and ensure that no one is left behind,” the Queen Mother added.

Prime Minister Russell Mmiso Dlamini acknowledged the relief efforts of the charity in supporting state social welfare initiatives.

“As our fiscal position improves and budgetary constraints are eased, Government will continue to explore ways of supporting initiatives of this nature within the resources available,” the Prime Minister said.
