ICT minister maps youth driven digital future

Mbabane – ICT Minister Savannah Maziya used a live interview on UNESWA FM on Thursday morning to unpack how government is driving Eswatini’s digital transformation, placing young people at the centre of the country’s future.

The interview introduced listeners to the Ministry’s key focus areas, including digital skills development, improved national connectivity and the rollout of the Government In Your Hand programme. The minister explained that these efforts are designed to strengthen service delivery and expand opportunities for young people entering the digital space.

She also spoke about emerging innovation prospects and the need to build a strong digital ecosystem that can support long term national growth. Throughout the conversation, she noted that the country’s digital path is being shaped by a new generation of tech minded youth who are already influencing Eswatini’s development direction.
