Lagos, Nigeria – The Sub Saharan Africa International Petroleum Exhibition and Conference (SAIPEC) is set to return to Lagos, Nigeria, from February 2 to 4, 2027, bringing together governments, energy companies, investors, service providers and technical experts from across Africa and international markets.
The three day event will be held at the Eko Convention Center and is expected to provide a platform for discussions around the future of the region’s oil and gas industry, with local content, energy transition and innovation among its key areas of focus.
SAIPEC said its 2027 edition will build on a decade of growth and industry engagement, with renewed attention on partnerships, investment opportunities and connections across Africa’s oil and gas value chains.
The event is being organised in strategic partnership with host organisation PETAN, the Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring Board and NNPC Ltd.
Organisers expect more than 1,400 conference delegates, participants from more than 50 countries, over 5,000 visitors and 139 exhibitors, while the wider 2027 exhibition is projected to feature more than 200 exhibiting companies and attract more than 6,000 industry professionals.
SAIPEC said the conference programme will give delegates direct access to key stakeholders across the Sub Saharan African supply and value chains. Participants will take part in business, technical and special focus sessions covering developments and opportunities within the region’s hydrocarbon industry.
The exhibition will provide companies with an opportunity to showcase products, technologies, innovations and solutions while connecting with potential customers and partners from across the energy market.
Organisers said exhibitors will also be able to explore emerging markets in Sub Saharan Africa, develop new business relationships and increase awareness of their brands and products among industry professionals.
The 2027 edition follows strong participation at SAIPEC 2026, with organisers reporting that more than 80 per cent of exhibitors from the previous edition had already rebooked their space for 2027.
SAIPEC said the event is designed to connect international expertise with regional priorities and create opportunities for businesses and institutions involved across the energy sector.
Local content will remain a central part of the programme, alongside discussions on energy transition and technological innovation as the region’s energy industry continues to evolve.
The organisers have invited governments, national and international oil companies, operators, service providers, investors and technical specialists to participate in the 2027 edition.
The conference and exhibition will take place at the Eko Convention Center in Lagos from February 2 to 4, 2027, under the banner of SAIPEC 2027.
