Davido’s latest album, Timeless, has finally hit the airwaves after much anticipation from fans.

Timeless features 17 tracks that showcase Davido’s personal growth and self-reflection. The album’s opening track, “OVER DEM,” draws inspiration from the biblical story of David and Goliath to convey Davido’s rise to fame and success, hinting at a more introspective turn for the artist. Other songs, such as “GODFATHER,” “AWAY,” and “LCND,” delve into the singer’s emotional state as he grapples with pain, seeks healing, and comes to terms with his larger-than-life persona.

Despite the introspective tone of the album, Timeless also delivers on Davido’s signature sound with romantic hits such as “NO COMPETITION” and “FOR THE ROAD” and a bouncy, hip-hop-influenced collaboration with grime artist Skepta on “U [JUJU].” The album culminates in the energetic and fiery track, “Champion Sound.”

Timeless is a testament to Davido’s resilience and strength in the face of adversity. The album is an instructive look into the life of a musical phenom who has weathered the darkest of times and emerged with renewed creativity and determination to keep going. Fans of Davido and Afropop music alike are sure to be delighted by this latest release.

Fans have been taking to social media to share their excitement about the album’s release, with many praising Davido for his hard work and dedication to the craft. “Davido really did that with ‘Timeless.’ Every song is a hit,” wrote one fan on Twitter.

“Timeless” is now available on all streaming platforms, and fans can expect more visuals and performances from Davido in the coming weeks. With the release of this album, Davido has once again cemented his place as one of Africa’s biggest music exports.
