In his birthday message to Nigerians, the President-elect, Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, expressed his dedication to his forthcoming position, stating that he cannot afford to waste his mandate as it is a dream he has spent his entire life perfecting.
He reflected on his upcoming presidency and the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, emphasizing that it matters to him more than the celebration of any individual milestone.
Tinubu reiterated his commitment to rebuilding the nation and fulfilling the promises he made during his campaign. He further stated that he will not fail and that his swearing-in ceremony in two months will signify his readiness for the task ahead.
Despite rumors on social media that he was abroad for medical attention, his media officer clarified that the President-elect had departed for a vacation in Paris and may stay back to observe Ramadan fast before heading to Saudi Arabia for Umrah.
