The programme was introduced following a request at Sibaya for government to ensure the budget process is accessible to citizens. It is designed to educate Emaswati on how the national budget is formulated, how resources are allocated, and how communities can engage on development priorities through existing structures, including MPs, tindvuna tetinkhundla, bucopho, and the Ministry of Tinkhundla.

Following the Manzini session, the consultations will continue in other regions across the country.
