Nouadhibou FC cemented their place in Mauritanian football history on Sunday, securing a record-extending seventh consecutive league title with a hard-fought 1-0 victory over ASAC Concorde.

The win sealed their dominance with two games remaining in the season, fending off a strong challenge from rivals AS Douanes. Sunday’s encounter against relegation-threatened ASAC Concorde could have been a potential upset, but the champions-elect displayed the composure and resilience that have become hallmarks of their recent success.

This latest triumph marks Nouadhibou’s 11th top-flight title overall and their seventh in as many years. Their unwavering dominance has solidified their position as the undisputed powerhouses of Mauritanian football.

Throughout the season, Nouadhibou displayed remarkable consistency, amassing an impressive 19 wins, 3 draws, and no defeats in their 23 matches played. This resulted in a commanding 60 points, a staggering seven points clear of their nearest challengers, AS Douanes.
