Mbabane Police are investigating a fraud case in which a former employee allegedly swindled a local company out of E166,244.45 over a period spanning December 2024 to August 2025.

Preliminary investigations revealed that the suspect, whose role at the company involved processing customer refund claims, allegedly forged refund forms and submitted fraudulent claims disguised as legitimate ones, pocketing money that was meant for customers.

Police are currently following leads that are expected to result in the arrest of the suspect.
