The Royal Eswatini Police Service has launched an investigation into a stock theft case reported in the Mpuluzi area under the Bhunya policing zone after ten cattle valued at E116 000 were stolen from a local kraal.
Police reports indicate that the incident occurred during the early hours of March 12, 2026 in the Mpuluzi area, where a 47 year old woman discovered that all ten of her cattle had been taken from her kraal.
According to information gathered by officers, a routine patrol was conducted in the area at around 0130 hours and everything appeared to be normal at the time.
The situation changed several hours later when the owner of the livestock went to inspect the kraal at about 0700 hours. She reportedly found the kraal completely empty.
Investigators believe the suspects may have taken advantage of the darkness during the night to remove the cattle without being noticed.
Police suspect the culprits carried out the operation quietly before leaving the area undetected.
The Royal Eswatini Police Service is now appealing to members of the public who may have information that could assist in identifying the suspects or help recover the stolen livestock.
