PRETORIA WEST, SOUTH AFRICA – Police have arrested a female suspect following the alleged killing of an e-hailing driver in Pretoria West. Authorities say more arrests are expected as investigations continue.
Preliminary investigations indicate the victim was allegedly attacked by a male and female who had requested his e-hailing services. The hijacked vehicle and the victim’s body were found later the same day in Atteridgeville.
The female suspect is scheduled to appear before the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court on Monday, 16 February, facing charges of car hijacking and murder.
Police confirmed that investigations into the incident remain ongoing.
