The Director General of the NYSC has warned members of the corps not to travel at night, advising them to prioritize their safety.

In an Easter message signed by the NYSC Director of Press and Public Relations, the DG congratulated corps members and urged them to uphold the Scheme’s core values while discharging their responsibilities.

He also reminded them to use NYSC formations or nearby military barracks as a safe haven if they are travelling and their journey is getting late into the night.

“If you are permitted to travel for the celebration, kindly note that it is safe for you not to travel in the night in order not to endanger yourself. If your journey is getting late into the night, break your journey into two and pass the night in any NYSC formation or nearby military barrack.”
