Harare – South African President Cyril Ramaphosa arrived at Robert Gabriel Mugabe International Airport in Zimbabwe on Thursday, where he was received by Zimbabwe’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade, Prof Dr A Murwira, Deputy Minister Alvin Botes, Chargé d’Affaires Ms Desiree Moodley, and Ambassador Tebogo Seokolo.

President Ramaphosa is in Harare to participate in the Zimbabwe Agricultural Show on 29 August 2025. The annual event, organised by the Zimbabwe Agricultural Society, aims to promote agricultural development across the country.

This year marks the 130th anniversary of the show, which runs under the theme “Building Bridging: Connecting Agriculture, Industry and Commerce.” The visit also provides an opportunity for President Ramaphosa to strengthen economic and diplomatic ties between South Africa and Zimbabwe.
