MBABANE – Government has called on all practising and prospective marriage officers across Eswatini to attend a crucial meeting set for Thursday, 26 March 2026, at the Emlalatini Development Centre.

According to a public notice issued on 24 March 2026 by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the gathering will bring together those already officiating marriages as well as individuals seeking to take up the role. The meeting is scheduled to begin at 1000hrs.

The Ministry says the purpose of the engagement is to address updates, guidelines and procedures linked to the registration and solemnisation of marriages in the country. Officials are expected to engage attendees on how to improve service delivery to emaSwati, particularly in the handling of marriage processes.

The notice, released under the communications office led by M.A Dlamini, states that participation from both current and prospective officers will be important in shaping discussions around marriage officiation and related administrative procedures.

The meeting will take place at the Emlalatini Development Centre, a venue commonly used for national engagements and training sessions.

Members of the public seeking further information have been advised to contact the Ministry of Home Affairs at its offices located at the Home Affairs Justice Building along Mhlambanyatsi Road in Mbabane or through the provided telephone and email contacts.
