EU envoy meets DPM on future projects

Mbabane – European Union Ambassador to Eswatini, Karsten Mecklenburg, together with EU Head of Cooperation, Eva-Maria Engdahl, held talks with Deputy Prime Minister Thuli Dladla in Mbabane on 21 August 2025.

The meeting, which took place at the DPM’s office, centred on EU-funded programmes currently underway in the country as well as upcoming initiatives. Discussions also explored ways to deepen cooperation and ensure that projects deliver long-term benefits.

Both parties expressed commitment to strengthening the partnership between Eswatini and the EU, with the delegation noting plans to maintain collaboration with the DPM’s office and other national stakeholders.
