Mbabane – Minister of Finance, Neal Rijkenberg, officially launched the Revenue Appeals Tribunal Eswatini (RATE) Inaugural Tax Law Reports, marking a significant milestone in the Kingdom’s ongoing efforts to strengthen tax administration, enhance legal certainty, and promote transparency in the application of revenue laws.
In his remarks, the Minister stated that the publication of the Tax Law Reports establishes an authoritative body of jurisprudence that will guide the consistent interpretation of tax legislation, support the fair and efficient resolution of tax disputes, and contribute to a predictable business environment that inspires investor confidence.
The Minister further noted that the achievement demonstrates Government’s continued efforts to strengthen institutions, uphold the rule of law, and promote a transparent and accountable tax system that supports sustainable economic growth and national development.
