Manzini – His Majesty’s Correctional Services officers visited KaZakhali Private School in Manzini on Friday, 6 June 2026, to address primary school pupils during the school’s Career Day programme, sharing insights into life in the correctional services and the career paths available within the institution.

The visit gave learners a first-hand look at the operations of His Majesty’s Correctional Services, the institution’s mandate, professional requirements and the role correctional officers play in maintaining public safety and supporting offender rehabilitation.

Beyond career guidance, the officers also delivered a session on good behaviour, discipline and personal responsibility. Pupils were encouraged to remain focused on their studies, respect their teachers and parents, and stay away from negative influences including substance abuse, criminal activities, bullying and peer pressure. The officers told learners that hard work, discipline and positive decision-making are key to achieving academic success and realising their career goals.

The school’s Deputy Headteacher, Mlamuli Dlamini, thanked HMCS for taking part in the programme after the event.

“We further appreciate the valuable advice, encouragement and psychosocial support that was offered to our learners. Your presentation inspired and enlightened them, helping them to make informed decisions about their future careers,” he said.
