Mbabane – Retired Chief Environmental Health Officer Funwako Dlamini was honoured with a joyful farewell recently, hosted by the Environmental Health Department of the Ministry of Health. Officers from both the head office and regional offices attended the event to celebrate Dlamini’s more than 30 years of service to the government and the ministry.
Former colleagues and previous CEHOs Edmund Dlamini and Sipho Shongwe joined the celebration, sharing memories and experiences that reflected Dlamini’s impact on the department.
Dlamini received numerous gifts, with the most notable being a comfortable recliner sofa contributed by all officers. The occasion was filled with warmth and appreciation as he was presented with flowers and tokens of gratitude, leaving him surrounded by colleagues’ affection and respect.
