Kigali, Rwanda – Ras Mubarak, leader of the Trans Africa Tourism & Unity Campaign, has reached Kigali, Rwanda, on his 163-day road journey across 39 African countries. The Ghanaian politician is advocating for a visa-free Africa, Pan-African unity, and economic integration.
After 86 days on the road and covering 20 countries, Mubarak praised Rwanda for its rapid post-conflict recovery and visa-free policy for all African nationals. He said Rwanda’s progress shows what is possible for Sub-Saharan Africa, noting the leadership is “intentional” and citizens are fully committed to national development. Mubarak added that Rwanda has not been overwhelmed by migrants, countering the common argument against open borders.
The tour, endorsed by the Government of Ghana, aims to promote African unity and visa-free travel, which Mubarak says would create jobs, generate revenue for governments, and foster prosperity for the business community. He thanked the Ghana High Commission in Kigali for their support and expressed gratitude to African governments for welcoming the team.

From Kigali, the team is heading east to Kenya, where they plan to meet the Hon. Minister for Foreign Affairs and potentially H.E. The Vice President, continuing their campaign for African integration and unity.
