Mbabane – Government employees will receive their October 2025 salaries on new dates, the Treasury has announced. A memo from Accountant General Nomsa B. Simelane states that permanent employees will be paid on 27 October, while other staff will receive theirs on 31 October.

The adjustment allows for proper input and implementation of the new salary review scales under the updated compensation structure. Departments have been advised to prepare monthly stop orders and statutory deductions carefully to prevent costs from failed deductions.

The memo, addressed to the Secretary to Cabinet, all Principal Secretaries, and Heads of Departments, as well as employee unions including NAPSAWU, SNAT, SNA, SNAGAP, and EPA, noted the importance of timely salary disbursement and thanked employees for their understanding and cooperation during the process.

Simelane said the change ensures all employees are fairly remunerated under the new salary scales.
