Police hunt driver after fatal Ludzibini hit and run

The Royal Eswatini Police Service at Pigg’s Peak are searching for the driver of a white Ford Ranger LDV with registration number FSD 969 AH after a fatal hit and run accident at Ludzibini on the Buhleni Msahweni MR 6 public road.

The incident happened on Saturday, 27 September 2025, at around 4:20 pm when a 33 year old woman from Ludzibini was struck by the vehicle while walking along the road. The pedestrian sustained fatal injuries and the driver fled the scene without offering assistance.

Police have called on members of the public who may have information about the whereabouts of the suspect to come forward. They urged anyone with leads to contact Assistant Superintendent Mbongeni Manana on 7604 1946, Constable Khumalo on 7623 6637, or to use the police emergency lines 999, 9999 or 112.
