MBABANE – Limkokwing University of Creative Technology (LUCT) has received government recognition for its new full-time undergraduate programmes, marking a major shift from its previous focus on associate degrees.

The university now offers a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology, a Bachelor of Arts in Professional Communications, a BSc in International Business, and a BA in Professional Design. Communications Manager Lucky Mathonsi confirmed that last year saw the graduation of the first cohort, with the next group set to graduate on 24 October at the Mavuso Trade and Exhibition Centre.

For the first time, the government is sponsoring several students to pursue the full four-year, full-time courses. Previously, students had to complete an associate degree before enrolling in an additional two years of part-time study to earn a full degree.

Mathonsi added that applications are open not only to Limkokwing alumni but also to students from other institutions interested in the degree programmes.
