EZULWINI – Businesses and individuals who consistently meet their tax obligations will be recognised by the Eswatini Revenue Service (ERS) during its annual Client Appreciation Day, set to take place on Friday, July 18, 2025.

Held under the theme “Celebrating Compliance, Powered by Digital Transformation”, this year’s event will reward outstanding tax-compliant clients across 13 sectors of the economy, including agriculture, ICT, transport, education, and finance. The ERS has also introduced new award categories for regional micro enterprises and sole traders with turnovers below E500,000, as well as clearing agents.

The ERS Director of Communications and Marketing, Ntobeko Dlamini, said the awards are part of the organisation’s effort to build a tax culture rooted in accountability and mutual respect, recognising that taxpayers are partners in the country’s development.

The event will be capped by the announcement of the Overall Top Contributor, selected from among sectoral winners. All nominees are evaluated based on strict criteria, which include timely filing and payments, high tax contribution, a clean customs and excise record, and the absence of pending disputes. An internal panel of ERS professionals is responsible for the adjudication process.
