His Royal Highness Prince Lonkhokhela, Minister of Natural Resources and Energy, will be one of the keynote speakers at the upcoming Eswatini Investment Conference scheduled for 14–15 May 2025.

Appointed to his ministerial role in November 2023 by His Majesty King Mswati III, Prince Lonkhokhela is expected to share insights on energy and natural resource investment opportunities in Eswatini. The conference, organised by the Eswatini Investment Promotion Authority (EIPA), aims to attract global and local investors across key sectors including energy, agriculture, mining, manufacturing, and ICT.

Before joining Cabinet, Prince Lonkhokhela served as Chief Executive Officer of the Eswatini National Provident Fund (ENPF) from 1999 to 2023. Under his leadership, the fund expanded its asset base and investment footprint. He also spent 16 years at the Central Bank of Eswatini in roles spanning research, foreign exchange, development finance, and audit.

The prince holds multiple board positions, including chairperson of Montigny Investments and Happy Valley Hotel, and directorships at Old Mutual Eswatini, IDCE, and Eswatini Mobile. His academic achievements include an MBA from New Hampshire College, a BA in Economics from Boston University, and leadership training from Harvard and Stanford universities.
