The cash incentives were officially handed over today by Minister of Sports, Culture and Youth Affairs Bongani Nzima during a ceremony honouring champions in netball, swimming, boxing, and athletics relay.

The payout falls under the National Rewards Incentive Programme, part of the National Sports Policy designed to encourage and motivate top-performing athletes representing Eswatini on global stages.

According to the minister, gold medalists each received E20,000, silver medalists were awarded E10,000, while bronze medalists took home E5,000 apiece.
