Mbabane – Emaswati students have until 15 June 2026 to apply for 15 scholarships to study in the Kingdom of Morocco, under the bilateral relations between the two kingdoms.

The Ministry of Labour and Social Security announced the scholarships on 4 June, with Acting Principal Secretary N.P. Dlamini signing off on the public notice. Applicants must be between 19 and 23 years of age and must have completed high school in 2025.

The scholarships are divided into three categories: five for public French universities, five for TVET French institutions and five merit-based excellence scholarships for private English universities. Students applying for the private university scholarship must have a minimum Academic Performance Score of 35, calculated on their best five credited subjects.

Available fields of study include medical studies, paramedical sciences, commercial and management sciences, and engineering and technological sciences.

Each scholarship covers an air ticket, tuition fees, medical cover and a monthly training grant of 750 Moroccan Dirhams, equivalent to approximately 80 US dollars. Successful applicants will be required to complete a French language course before beginning their studies.

Students can access application information and the list of Moroccan public institutions of higher learning at www.amci.ma/publications. Completed application forms and supporting documents must be submitted in person at the Scholarship Office reception on the ground floor of the Old Income Tax Building in Mbabane, known locally as etolishini, no later than 15 June 2026.

Further enquiries can be directed to the Ministry of Labour and Social Security at the Inter-Ministerial Building, Block 8, Level 3, Mhlambanyatsi Road, Mbabane, by telephone on +268 2404 1971/2/3 or by email at min_labour@gov.sz.
