MAPUTO – The Eswatini National Petroleum Company (ENPC) has entered into a cooperation agreement with Mozambique’s state oil firm, Petromoc, aimed at strengthening fuel supply security between the two countries.

The memorandum of understanding was signed at the Presidential Offices in Maputo during a state visit by His Majesty King Mswati III. Mozambique’s President, Daniel Chapo, also witnessed the signing.

Acting CEO of ENPC, Musa Shongwe, signed on behalf of Eswatini, while Helder Chambisse represented Petromoc.

The agreement lays the groundwork for collaboration on petroleum-related matters and is expected to enhance the operational capacity of both national oil companies as they work to deliver on their respective energy mandates.
