Maputo – Mozambique’s Tax Authority has launched an online service allowing taxpayers to apply for their Tax Clearance Certificate through the Taxpayer Portal, with the service going live on August 3, 2026.

The announcement was made in Communiqué No. 7/2026, signed by Director Haydn Joyce David from the authority’s Communications and Image Office in Maputo.

Taxpayers can access the service at https://portaldocontribuinte.at.gov.mz. Once an application is submitted, the Tax Clearance Certificate will be issued within ten working days.

Taxpayers who do not receive their certificate within that period can lodge a complaint by email at reclamacao_quitacao@at.gov.mz for review and processing by the relevant departments.
