Man to appear in court over Madvubeni theft

Madvubeni – A 55-year-old man is scheduled to appear before the Siteki Magistrates Court on Tuesday, January 13, following his arrest on theft charges.

Police say the suspect stole items valued at E126,000 from a yard in Madvubeni on January 5. Stolen property included a concrete mixer, Bomag machine, red compressor, chainsaw, brush cutter, gearbox, and a door frame.

The man was arrested on Sunday, January 11, around 5 PM in Madvubeni. The following day, police recovered some of the stolen items near Matsapha, including the concrete mixer, Bomag machine, and red compressor. Investigations are ongoing to locate the remaining property.
