Khabo Zondo and Dan Malesela on the other hand have taken over from John Maduka at Royal AM ahead of the new season.

Take a look at the latest injury and player updates below. The match begins at 17:30.

The Glamour Boys will be without Phathutshedzo Nange through suspension (carried over from last season).

Kaizer Chiefs will also be without Sifiso Hlanti and Sibusiso Mabiliso through injury.

Royal AM new signing Samir Nurkovic is also set to miss out against his former side due to injury.

“There’s no rest when you’re working for Kaizer Chiefs, especially when all eyes are on you. I have embraced that, it’s part of me. “It’s part of the job. Win or lose, I’ll take criticism positively and I’ll understand as it’s part of the game. “Going to this game I’ve got a positive headache because we are selecting from players that are willing and showing a lot of commitment to go out there and give their best. “We are anticipating a great game, and Kaizer Chiefs are hoping to grind and get a result and we want to set the tone as well. “They are going to be a difficult team because they’re playing at home. They’ll want to get maximum points. “We are going to take the game to them. We’re going to dig deep and grind the result. We are not going to hesitate because we’re anticipating a very difficult game but we’ll take the game to them.”
