Pomp and colour as Ruto supporters arrive at Nyayo stadium

Pomp and colour as Kenyans supporting Deputy President William Ruto led Kenya Kwanza begin to arrive at Nyayo Stadium.

Hundreds of residents were spotted walking toward the stadium which is located along Langata Road Stadium with a 35,000-seat capacity.

From Uhuru Highway, Bunyala Road and Mombasa Road, the supporters dressed in yellow T-shirts which is the dominating colour of the Ruto-led United Democratic Alliance Party.

Justina Musyoka from Machakos said she was up by 3:00 am to prepare herself to come to Nairobi to support her presidential candidate.

“ I’m urging all Ruto supporters to wake up and vote him come next week Tuesday. I’m supporting Ruto because I believe in the hustler manifesto.

Ruben Oleitich from Nandi Hills said he arrived in Nairobi last night at 9pm and slept in the Stadium anticipating for the final rally.’

Inside the stadium, the seats were painted in the Kenyan flag colours of black, red, white and green.

The majority of the supporters were dressed in yellow t-shirts and caps as they got entertained by music.
