The engagement provided an opportunity for officials from the two neighbouring countries to exchange experiences on leadership, stakeholder engagement and operational approaches aimed at improving organisational effectiveness.

Discussions also focused on practical experiences within the two revenue administrations, with officials sharing knowledge that could support improvements in institutional performance and service delivery.

The courtesy visit forms part of ongoing engagement between revenue authorities in the region, with cooperation providing opportunities for tax administrations to learn from one another and strengthen their institutional capabilities.

The ERS said collaboration among revenue administrations remains important for knowledge sharing, improved service delivery and the continued development of effective and professional tax institutions.
